
Kim Buck Schneider (dedicated and humbled student of life) is a certified yoga teacher with countless hours instructing and practice since 1998. She is schooled in the Anusara, Vini/Krishnamacharya, and Vinyasa traditions. A devoted student of John Friend, Kim teaches from the heart and down-to-earth. Fostering joy is her theme for 2008. She builds the mission of Main Street after the Gandhian tradition of Karma Yoga, with emphasis on donation-based classes and self-less service. She is certified throught the Radiant Child Yoga Program tm as a yoga teacher to children. Kim is a certified Prenatal Fitness Specialist and Personal Trainer. Her prenatal classes are empowering and focus on a woman's innate ability to birth naturally and beautifully. She is influenced by the midwife for all of her children, Tamy Roloff, and the writings of Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Ina May Gaskin, Elizabeth Davis, Pam Englund and Francoise Freedman--all dedicated childbirth educators, yoga teachers and/or midwives. Scott Sarber recently moved back to Spokane, from California, after a 25 year absence. Scott teaches a blend of Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Kundalini Yoga and is registered with the Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200 hour level. Scott has trained with the likes of David Life and Sharon Gannon, Noah Maze,Tias Little, Paul Grilley, Bryan Kest, Shiva Rea, Katerina Wen, Max Strom, Saul David Raye, Larissa Stowe, Mantra Girl, Kristin Olson, Bhagavan Das, City Yoga Anusara Studio, Allison Rubin, Karen Sprute-Francovich, Darren Rhodes and Doug Swenson. When not teaching your are likely to find Scott beside you in practice. As Scott reminds us, "Practice makes Practice." Scott's greatest teacher has been his wonderfully compassionate daughter, Jacquelyn.
Peggy Kuwada is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level, she has been practicing meditation/yoga for over 12 years and teaching for over 8. Her focus is on a balanced approach that is nurturing and restorative while building strength and flexibility. She specializes is yoga for seniors and yoga for the treatment and prevention of dis-ease. She brings gentleness, joy and empowerment to her classes.
Jessica Dinneen has taught at multiple venues in Spokane. She offers a challenging and dynamic practice. Her youthful vitality gives her classes an energy and challenge that flows easily into the postures.

Karen Sprute-Francovich M.A, Senior teacher, is a Certified Anusara Yoga Instructor & Teacher Trainer, Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher E-RYT (500 hour level). She has practiced yoga for over 33 years and taught for 20+ years. In addition to her studio classes at Garden Street Yoga in C'oeur D'Alene, she teaches at North Idaho College, leads workshops and retreats, and teaches year-long Immersions and Teacher Training Programs. Karen’s teaching is informed by her long term study and practice of Asian Bodywork Therapies and movement arts. She is certified with the AOBTA and NCCAOM, certifying agencies for Asian Bodywork Therapy and Oriental Medicine. Since 1994 she has been a whole-hearted student of John Friend and Anusara Yoga. Her classes inspire and challenge all levels of students. All hours with Karen count towards National Teacher Certification and Yoga Alliance Teacher Registration. We are honored at Main Street to have her leading intensives and workshops.

Sandi Beus, with her husband Mike, raised their family in Spokane and consider themselves Spokane natives. She has a B.A. in Business Administration and an eight year background in nursing education and practice. She has found life experience to be her best source of growth and development. Sandi and her family have a passion for caring for all of creation. She is active in putting her Yoga practice and faith into action by building community through civic education and the Spokane Alliance. The path of Yoga, and building relationships for the common good, and for all creation, align with her passion for living. She feels through Yoga she is on a peaceful, heart-centered path.

Beth McGibbon has been a student of yoga since 1992. She has studied both Iyengar yoga and Anusura yoga. This past year she has delved into immersion studies of Anusara yoga and currently is completing the teacher training of Anusara yoga with Karen Sprute-Francovich. Over the years she has attended numerous yoga workshops with Rodney Yee, Judith Lasater, Eric Schiffman, Noah Maze and Christina Sell. Beth shares a love for yoga and brings heart-centered teaching to her students. Beth has also taught for twenty years in the public school system.
